Hockey's Back?

So it appears that the hockey season is back in full swing. I grew up in northeast Ohio where the only hockey team we have is the Lake Erie Monsters, which is a minor league hockey team. So before I came to college here at Slippery Rock I never followed hockey and didn't really understand the game at all. Now that I have moved into Penguin territory I feel like I need to follow the sport a little bit or at least have a general understanding of how the game works. I have come a long way since last year, I don't mind watching games and I now know what icing is (that was the most confusing topic I faced at the beginning).
Well, whether I follow the sport or not, I'm sure that all of my friends on twitter will keep me updated on games and scores. whether I like it or not.

  1. Does that make you a Penguins Fan then?

  2. Hello Steven, I like the effort of becoming a guino fan. Its going to be a fun year and I think a great chance at the cup. I also use to be very confused on what icing is. Glad i overcame that obstacle.

  3. It's good to hear the Pens got another fan, welcome to the team. Although, I must point out, you just figured out what icing is, but they introduced hybrid icing, uh oh.

  4. hey steven, you didn't like the lake erie monsters??? come on, they aren't that bad. lol but you don't have to be a penguins fan as well. choose a team you want, not have a team chosen for you. and icing is something you don't have to worry about anytime soon; just when you drop the gloves, don't take a nasty uppercut and ko.
